The National Biscuit Company (Nabisco) introduced Fig Newton cookies in 1891. The fig-filled sandwich cakes were named after an exclusive and wealthy area near Boston, called Newton.
This little girl is one of a set of three. She's dressed in yellow and gold has her hands full of her favorite snack: Fig Newtons!
