Here you can see the many faces of Tony the Tiger! From our plastic "jar" dating from 1968, to the athletic-looking Tony plush doll from the 1980's, his appearance evolved.

As mentioned earlier, Tony originated as a member of a cast of jungle animals on Frosted Flakes boxes. Later, Tony appeared in commercials with his son, Tony Jr., teaching the value of Frosted Flakes for breakfast. Eventually, Tony Jr. became the trademark of Kellogg's Frosted Rice cereal. For a while in the 1970's, Tony had an entire family, including a mother, wife, and a daughter, Antoinette.
